Dave Nitsche

Dave is a conceptual photographer who i have only recently come across. In fact it is fair to say Dave has only recently come across photography himself, having bought his first camera in 2002. From then on Dave got more and more into photography, however mainly photographing objects in his cellar. It eventually got to the stage where, apart from work, all Dave did was shoot stuff in his cellar. Now you may be thinking why is he photographing things in his cellar, since there's so many things out there needing to be photographed. But Dave likes to find ways to give out human emotions with objects. A photograph with a concept behind it, conceptual photography. And this is what he does so well, the idea's behind some of these photographs is pure genius, if you think you have a creative way of thinking then i highly recommend looking through his portfolio, highly impressive and very inspirational with his simple idea, which bring out their strong emotions. I completely new to this form of photography, conceptual photography, a photograph with a concept behind it. However i have become very fond of the genre, mainly because of the work of Dave's. However being able to say i believe i have a creative mind, maybe not the most intellectual but creative, i have created my own collection of photographs with meanings behind them, and im very proud of them. I recommend anyone looking into this type of photography, since its very fun and rewarding when you think of a clever idea that interprets a meaning.
