The next sports photographer im going to talk about goes by the name of Matthew Ashton. I’ve been following the work of Matthew just coming up to 5 years now, I remember first researching his work during gcse level photography back at school. Ever since then I’ve always been curious about his latest work, and where his been and what his doing. Matthew has even created his own sporting agency, its called AMA archive sporting agency. AMA covers all of the English football leagues, UEFA Champions League, Internationals, FIFA International competitions, including world cups, as well as non-league football. The agency have a group of selected sports photographers, some being more experienced than others who travel around the globe photographing for the agency. AMA also have an ever growing archive of images which prides itself on attention to detail whilst covering sporting events. The archive naturally include photos of match day action but it also includes innovative and treasured images of fans, stadium, media related imagery and artistic shots.
